One of the highlights of my trip was dining at the on-site restaurant, where the relaxed ambiance perfectly complemented the stunning beachfront views framed by Pohutukawa trees. The simple Italian-inspired menu showcased local produce, with nearly everything freshly sourced from their kitchen gardens or nearby farms. I savored a delightful risotto adorned with seasonal ingredients, while the wine selection featured some exquisite small-batch releases. I was particularly impressed with their Cabernet Sauvignon blend-a commendable choice for those who appreciate well-crafted wines. The hotel amenities, including an inviting pool and spaces for children to play, were particularly well-suited for families. This establishment provided a pleasant base for culinary exploration, and though there were minor drawbacks in room upkeep, the dining experience alone made this stay worthwhile.
